Ep. 49: Listening to Life & The Keys in Your Genes with Paul Kuhn

See this content in the original post

Paul Kuhn is a sound practitioner, teacher, and intuitive guide. His mission is to support others in remembering their innate divinity and discovering their unique purpose in the world. Paul’s approach is multi-disciplinary - drawing from his ongoing study of sound, yogic and eastern contemplative traditions, The Gene Keys, alchemy, and amazonian shamanic practice. In his work, he applies the tools and practices from these bodies of wisdom to empower clients to transform themselves. When not in personal study, you can find him playing music, offering 1:1 Gene Keys readings, and leading Seven Senses transformational work around the world with his partner Dr. Erica Matluck.

In this episode, we discuss:

·       What it means to be a sound practitioner and how sound can impact our consciousness.

·       Paul’s history with music and how he got into this work.

·       His spiritual awakening and what led to it.

·       What holistic listening entails and what we can learn from it.

·       How life talks to us through our senses, triggering feelings and stories in our internal state, which creates an opportunity for us to be aware of them and question them.

·       How maybe my favorite question – why – is actually a trap and what we should do instead of trying to figure out the why.

·       The difference between eastern and western instruments and how sound can impact our brainwaves.

·       His definition of consciousness and how language falls short in describing it.

·       And finally, we discuss the Gene Keys system and he actually reads some of my Gene Keys profile.
